It is not uncommon for those of us that practice law to also like to cook. Many of the finest home chefs are practicing attorneys. I think the reason that so many attorneys are also interested in cooking is because at the end of the day-we really have nothing tangible to show for our work. We can't point to a building and say "I made that." By the same token most lawyers are creative people and cooking good food provides something tangible that can be created and provides another facet for creativity. I am a criminal defense attorney based in Savannah, Georgia that loves to cook.
One of the best things about living in Savannah-besides the nice weather year round-is the access not only to some of the finest restaurants in the U.S-but to some of the finest and freshest ingredients.
I hope to share some of my adopted hometown with the rest of the world and I hope that you will choose to visit Savannah someday.
